The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max will be a total worthy of the name as it will bring in a couple of changes seen on previous models that users should consider a plus.
From recent leaks, this could still be larger than the current gadget with the screen size, while usable space could be much greater due to the outrageously thin frame.
An IceUniverse post that contains what seems to be a drawing on CAD of the iPhone 16 Pro Max shows that the device will feature a bezel of 1.15mm around the screen. This is actually quite a decrease from the 1.71mm bezels of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, meaning that the new bezels are about 30% thinner. For the thickness of the bezels, the iPhone 16 Pro should be also very slight, measuring just 1.2mm.
As Tom’s Guide noted, thin bezels around the screens could be among the defining traces through which Apple sets the iPhone 16 series from other rival high-end smartphones. For instance, Samsung has made a great leap with the 1.5mm bezels of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra over the iPhone 15 Pro Max in the display-to-body ratio. But if the leaked measurements are true, then it is the iPhone 16 Pro Max that will take the lead in this regard.
In addition to the thinner bezel, Apple is believed to equip the scrumptious iPhone 16 Pro alongside the iPhone 16 Pro Max with bigger width screens of 6.3 and 6.9, correspondingly. The other upcoming improvements are the center-mounted Capture button, a better chipset with enhanced AI, and a bigger battery.
Reports have indicated that the technological conglomerate is to unveil the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max next month during an event. This event should also unveil the Air Pods 4 and the Apple Watch 10, which represent a veritable arsenal of new gadgets for Apple fans.
