Ain Dubai will be completed to celebrate Expo 2020 Dubai, where the world will witness the completion of the highest entertainment wheel ever built at an altitude of more than 250 meters – more than 200 percent higher than the world’s first recreational wheel – as evidence. On the ambition of “Meraas” to exceed the limits of modern engineering and construction.
It is worth mentioning that the construction of this stunning engineering masterpiece requires innovative engineering solutions. The external steel frame of the wheel has been temporarily stabilized using eight huge support columns of 450 tons each. This installation required a high level of coordination to carry out a series of unprecedented complex engineering maneuvers. This process was followed by the installation of the final installation cords, in conjunction with the temporary removal of the columns in stages. The installation of the frame took several years.

The sheer size of the project has become evident as progress is being made in the construction of Ain Dubai. With the removal of the eight temporary support columns with a weight of 5000 tons, the tire was fixed by 192 permanent cables, ensuring the rigidity of the frame structure through the constant tensile operation.
