After the success of highly anticipated comedy, “Good Newwz”, Bollywood Legend, Akshay Kumar, is all set to entertain the audiences with yet another Horror masterpiece “Laxmmi Bomb” and this time with Dubai in the backdrop.
The actor will film a song in parts of Dubai including Dubai Marina, near Meydan and Jumeirah Beach Residence said a source.
This is not the first time the Bollywood Icon has chosen UAE for shooting his scenes.
After breaking records with his projects, Akshay Kumar continues to experiment in his choice of characters he plays. This time Akshay Kumar transforms into a transgender in this horror flick.
He was quoted saying, “I am comfortable in a sari and had no problem shooting in it. I love doing tricky stuff. It is one of the most difficult characters I have played. I had to internalize the character and get the body language right.”
The movie also features Kiara Advani, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tusshar Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala and is scheduled to release in May 2020.
Akshay Kumar currently in Dubai will be shooting a song for the film for the next time 72 Hours.
Previously Kumar shot extensively in Kuwait for his movie “Airlift” where the story depicted UAE in the 90s touching the subject of the massive civilian evacuation of Indian expatriates that took place during the Gulf War when Iraqi forces invaded Kuwait.
The film which is a Hindi remake of the 2011 Tamil film ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’ will release on the Hindu festival of Navratri.
