Apple’s New iPhone 16 to Feature Bonus Buttons, Camera Upgrades

Apple fans are in for some great surprises with the new iPhone model. With every new iPhone model, Apple is known for undertaking experimentation with new technology. This time, as per reports, the phone making company is planning to add a second new button, it was reported by international media news forums.

Besides this, Apple is also reportedly using Sony’s latest camera sensor technology, which splits the photodiodes and pixel transistors into two distinct layers capturing more light for each pixel.

If reports are true, this new sensory technology will only be reserved for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

In addition, it was reported that all four models of iPhone 16 will have the presumably named “Capture Button”, but the recessed design in the blanks point to using a capacitive button, presumably with Apple’s “Taptic Engine” creating enough feedback to give a genuine button feel. Undoubtedly, if the consumer feedback on this feedback is welcoming, Apple could move to fewer physical and more capacitive buttons in future designs.

Although we previously had a clear image of the camera lens layout, it’s nice to get confirmation of the vertical lens arrangement that will offer a side-by-side arrangement to allow for stereoscopic video recording and later playback on the Apple Vision Pro headset.

Apple is also expanding the optical zoom size available on the higher-tier iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max handsets.

Currently, the iPhone 15 Pro can zoom up to x3, but the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will see an upgrade to x5 optical zoom and the expectation of x25 digital zoom as an option when taking photos. The phone is also presumed to feature a vertical lens arrangement that will suggest a side-by-side arrangement to allow for stereoscopic video recording and later playback on the Apple Vision Pro headset.

As for phone software, the new iPhones will have artificial intelligence (AI) fortified features that will help enhance the quality as well as the procedure of taking photographs, making it convenient for photography enthusiast.

Other phone manufacturers such as Samsung and Google have been aiming on AI-featured phones for a long time, while Apple has just now entered the ensuing competition.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 family on September 10th, the traditional second Tuesday of September.
