AURA Skypool: Dubai to Get World’s Highest Swimming Pool

Just when you think the Palm Jumeirah couldn’t get any better, it takes you by surprise and outdoes itself with its revolutionary projects. The largest manmade island in the world often referred to as the ‘eighth wonder of the world’ never disappoints with its new innovations. With the recent launch of the mega Nakheel Mall, Palm Jumeirah has now added to its wonders the highest sky pools in the world.

AURA pool which is the new addition to the luxurious pool lounges scene on Palm Jumeirah is located on Nakheel’s iconic hotel and residential landmark, The Palm Tower. Covering the entire 50th Floor, the AURA pool is raised 210m above the ground comprising of private elevators.

With the untainted view of the Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab, and the Burj Khalifa, among others, this 360-degree infinity pool has been designed on the theme of an oasis in the sky.

With breathtaking Dubai skyline serving as a backdrop, the green botanic themed designed pool deck is equipped with customized in-pool lounges, sunbeds, and indoor seating.

Described as ‘island-themed oasis in the sky’, this ambitious project by Sunset Hospitality Group will open its doors in 2020. The AURA Skypool Lounge will offer a pan-Asian cuisine as well as beverages created by famous mixologists.

AURA Skypool will open as part of a three-floor luxe dining and entertainment destination atop Palm Tower. One floor above on level 51 SUSHISAMBA restaurant will open, while the 52nd floor will consist of the Palm Tower’s famed viewing deck, called The View.
