Belinda Bencic beats Petra Kvitova in Dubai Tennis Championship

Making her success story stronger New Dubai champion Belinda Bencic took over world number four Petra Kvitova, when she went for a skydiving session at Skydive Dubai on Sunday, to win the Dubai Championships, her third WTA title.

Switzerland’s Bencic, ranked 45th, beat the Czech 6-3 1-6 6-2 to claim her first WTA carry on to Skydive Dubai’s facility on The Palm to fulfill her desire. Besides Bencic struggled with injuries in current years but she finally seems to give back her best. She reached at the best of her career, world No. 7, defeating four top-ten players on the journey to becoming the Dubai champion.

Although her father was against her doing it she never let her fears came in her ways and carry forward her dream of becoming the champion.

Bencic discloses that it was her aim towards fitness, physically and mentally in both ways, which had helped her win her third career title on the WTA Tour. As she stated that this is definitely the fittest she has ever felt. She thinks it is showing a lot in her game and she also think they did amazing work last year.

As she performed the way it is very obvious now that after four straight wins against top-10 ranked players this week, it could be back on that list as well just in a matter of time.

As Bencic stated that,”Of course they are very high-quality players, all of them.” This shows her high spirit of winning and keeping her consistent in tough matches to come. With her getting stronger within herself will motivate her to win against every opponent.

Making it an impressive performance, Bencic defeated the Romanian world number two SimonaHalep, sixth-ranked ElinaSvitolina of Ukraine and Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka, who is ranked ninth, heading on her way to the final.
