The world Expo 2020 to be hosted by Dubai on October 20, 2020, is now currently the talk of the town for many of its reasons. So are the speculations about the Expo 2020 which mainly scam people are trapped into it very easily.
One of the latest scams that circulated the UAE was a lottery scam. Many residents reported receiving messages claiming that they have won Dh200,000 from Al Ansari Exchange and to make it look more realistic it was associated with the Expo 2020.
The scammers claimed the authenticity by providing the reference number, contact details of the exchange house and a signature in the message.
Al Ansari Exchange urges the public to be aware of such fraudulent calls or scam messages and to report these instances immediately to the authorities.
If anyone is receiving such messages informing about a lottery, balloting or asking for any personal information to register yourself in Expo 2020 don’t trust these messages and never provide them with any information.
