Bubble Run Came With A Bang To Expo City Dubai This Jan 2024

Bubble Run happened on Saturday January 20, during which contestants raced through Expo City’s Al Wasl Avenue all the while being covered in suds. There were two routes to choose from depending on your age and fitness levels. It was all fun, smiles and good times at the Bubble Run on Saturday.

Several residents brought along their young ones in strollers and cycles for the fun run that was open to people of all ages. From bright wigs to fancy sunglasses, participants came out to the run donning their most colorful accessories. Depending on whether they were competing in the 4 km or 8 km race, runners started at 10-minute intervals between 4 and 4.30 pm. Foam bursting from massive cannons covered run participants from head to toe.

For people who are not familiar with it, in Bubble Run, the participants for the entire run are covered in bubbles from head to toe. In order to give runners and walkers a foam bath as they approach the finish line, the course is set up with foam stations. It’s a fun and safe method to enjoy physical activity because the foam is non-toxic and 100% safe.

Tickets:

Tickets were priced from Dhs195 for the 4km route for adults and Dhs 95 for kids 5 to 17 and Dhs 45 for under fours. Those taking the 8 km route will pay Dhs 45 for under fours, Dhs 115 for kids aged 5 to 17, and Dhs 215 for adults.

There was no pressure to rank in the race or stress about finishing lines because Bubble Run is not a competitive event. Rather, it’s a distinct and engaging experience that invites people to relax and have fun.

In addition, a variety of family-friendly entertainment was in store for runners. After the marathon, one could stay at the after-race village, where there was kid-friendly activities and a DJ to keep the audience upbeat and cheering. Every competitor will got a medal and a goodie bag filled with goodies.

For many, the run was an opportunity to dress up and have some fun. Many wore tutu skirts and sported funky sunglasses, while some even brought their favorite floaties with them.
