On Ethiopia’s Christmas Day, the marathon concluded with Addisu Gobena and Tigist Ketema claiming the elite titles. Shortly after, Mohammed Thani Al Shafar, Ghubash Marwan bin Ghubash, Rashid Saeed Al Marri, and Khalifa Saeed Al Marri took it upon themselves to restore the city’s cleanliness. Their dedication to bringing the city back to its pristine condition was an inspiring sight.

This act of community service did not go unnoticed. On Wednesday, the Dubai Municipality recognized the children’s efforts. Dawoud Al Hajri, the Director-General of Dubai Municipality, personally honored the young environmentalists for their commendable work. The Four children won hearts including that of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

Sheikh Hamdan recently took to the social media platform Instagram and applauded four young Emirati children for their efforts to keep Dubai City clean and tidy.

According to Gulf Today, the Crown Prince of Dubai thanked four children for cleaning the street of the Emirates after the Marathon ended.

“Thank you Mohammed Thani Al Shafar, Ghobash Marwan Bin Ghobash, Rashid Saeed Al Marri, and Khalifa Saeed Al Marri,” Sheikh Hamdan commented on the video which showed four children cleaning a street in the Emirates.
