Dubai to Build the World’s Tallest Wellbeing Resort by 2028

In the future, Dubai aims to house the World’s Tallest Wellbeing Resort in the world entitled ‘Therme Dubai’, part of its Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033. Announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, presumptive Crown Prince of Dubai, this futuristic project will come to locate in Zabeel Park with the targeted completion year being 2028.

The resort would be erected to some spectacular sights towering 100 meters above ground, certainly going to be an alluring icon in the city’s development landscape. Girdled with AED 2 billion, the development adds to the city’s aspiration of quality of life-enhancing activities and environmentally inclined sustainability. An extraordinary wellness retreat all unto itself, one would expect the addition of a magnificent interactive park and the world’s largest indoor botanical garden to lure in some 1.7 million visitors annually.

Spread across 500,000 square feet, the resort is to be divided into three major zones, all geared towards restoring, relaxing, and playing, creating a variety of wellbeing experiences. Sheikh Hamdan mentioned that this particular development heavily connects with urban biodiversity and sustainability. Enriching for residents and visitors-facilitated experiences are what he added the fitting development would encompass.

This new phase is part of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033, whereby enhancing community wellbeing is proposed to position Dubai as the world’s best place for living. Adding walking-friendly and family-oriented areas in development and ensuring access to basic services within a 20-minute timeframe for all will be its main functions.  Moreover, the design encompasses the building of over 200 parks, enhancing cycling tracks, and giving areas along the beach for women.

Therme Dubai is a resort for well-being that will contribute significantly toward the accomplishment of these goals by providing a contemporary mixture of health, relaxation, and entertainment. This development will also happen to coincide with some of Dubai’s project towards environmental improvement, including the planned planting of 216,500 trees across the city in 2024, which will increase the number of trees planted from the previous year by 17%.

This project upholds the vision of Dubai as enunciated by Sheikh Hamdan as well as the president of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed, regarding sustainability and environmental conservation. The Therme Dubai resort will thus be a major contributor to the next generation of well-being in the city as Dubai proceeds to be greened and become an environment to positively enhance urban lifestyles.
