“Al-Kave Café”, a new addition adopted by Dubai on the path of major changes towards reducing the carbon footprint, especially efforts to reduce plastic waste.
This recycling café uses their efforts for the betterment of earth. Kave Café present on Alserkal Avenue and all they care is about to protect the environment and make it zero plastics.
Kave’s management uses tableware and ceramic vessels that are either recyclable or re-useable, this initiative is taken to raise awareness about the levels of plastic in the sea, such as Adidas and Parsley’s collaborative race Run for the Oceans on Kite Beach last year.
The café offers its guests a variety of healthy dishes. They also enjoy a variety of weekly craft workshops such as making guitars, giving embroidery classes, meditation sessions, bottle cutting and cycling using different tools and by using recycled pieces that make the wasted plastics ware re-useable.

One can even customize their bike using recycled parts, Café goers can bring with them a rusty bike and re-manufacture it fully and test it to be re-used. This is not all, the café provides free work desks with tools that enable visitors to fix a closet, chair, table or any broken object. It is enough to ask for your coffee and start work, sparking your creative ideas with the drive of sustainability and the ability to return things to life.
