Etihad Airways inflight chef, Sanjay Thakur accompanied by fellow chef Soundararajan Palaniappan has broken the world record for serving dinner to guests at the highest restaurant in the world located at Everest Advanced High Camp.
They served the meal at an altitude of 5,585 metres above sea level. The team used solar energy to cook the meal and served on lava rock plates.
Their achievements were celebrated at Etihad’s headquarters.
