The Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Transport Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has surveyed the specially designed Etihad Airways’ “Year of Zayed” A380 aircraft at Etihad Airways Engineering’s facilities in Abu Dhabi.
Chairman of Etihad Aviation Group H.E. Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Group Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Aviation Group Tony Douglas and members of the Etihad senior leadership team were also there.
They visited to Etihad’s Innovation Centre in Abu Dhabi where they heard from senior Etihad executives about the airline’s strategic plans for the future.
The A380 in “Year of Zayed” is based on the four themes of wisdom, respect, sustainability and human development. The first initiative of A380 aircraft is to conduct its first flights for charitable organizations in May.
