The first Dubai Duty-Free Sports Festival, hosted by Dubai Stars Sports Complex, lasted until September 4, with the participation of Duty-Free employees and management staff, in an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and celebrate cultural diversity among the market’s workforce.
The opening ceremony was attended by a number of Duty-Free officials including Ramesh Kidambi, Chief Operating Officer, Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services, Bernard Creed, Senior Vice President – Accounting, Michael Schmid, Senior Vice President, Retail Support, and Yousef Al Khaled, Director Foreign and legal affairs.

Competition is taking place at the first Dubai Duty-Free Sports Festival, among the various sections of the Duty-Free, and is available to all staff members regardless of skill level. Participants are divided into 144 groups.
