The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that parking is free during the Isra and Mi’raj holiday this week in Dubai.
The CEO of Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, RTA, Yousef Al Rida said that “All customers’ happiness centres will be closed during Al Isra Wal Miraj holiday corresponding to Saturday, April 14, 2018.
All paid parking zones will be free across the emirate during the holiday except for the multi-level parking lots. Paid parking fees will be reactivated on Sunday, April 15.”
The Metro Red Line stations will operate from 5:00am to 12:00am, The Green Line stations will operate from 5:30am to 12:00am on Saturday, April 14 and the Dubai Tram will be in service on Saturday from 6:00am to 01:00am.
Main bus stations such as Gold Souq will operate from 4:25am to 12:57am and Al Ghubaiba Station will be in service from 4:26am to 12:45 midnight.
Sub-stations such as Satwa will start from 4:57am to 11:05pm, Al Qusais Station will start from 4:30am to 12:12am and Al Quoz Industrial Station will start from 5:02am to 11:35pm while Jebel Ali Station will start from 5:00am and continue up to 11:22 pm.
Metro feeder bus stations will be in service from 5:00 am to 01:10 am of the next day. Main stations Al Ghubaiba will be operating from 4:40am up to 1:00am of the next day.
Substations such as Union Square will start from 4:35am up to 12:30am past midnight. Al Sabkha Station will run from 6:30am until 12:00am and Deira City Centre Station will be operating from 6:07am until 11:06pm. Karama Station will run bus service from 6:10am until 10:16pm and Al Ahli Club Station will start from 5:55am to 10:15pm.
External Stations such as Sharjah’s Al Taawun will run from 5:30 am until 10:00pm and Fujairah Station will operate from 05:15 am until 09:30 pm. Ajman Station will open from 4:35am until 11:30pm and Hatta Station will start from 5:30am until 9:30pm.
The Water Bus will run at Marina Stations from 12:00 at noon up to 12:00 midnight. Traditional Abra will operate on Saturday, April 14 from 10:00am until 12:00 midnight. The Electric Abra will operate from 12:00 at noon up to 11:30pm.
