The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that they are offering free taxi rides to ‘People of Determination’ for the remainder of 2018.
Al Khair Ride is a joint venture between the RTA’s Dubai Taxi Corporation and the Al-Futtaim Motors Company and is specially designed to help people with disabilities so they can travel around the city without any difficulty.
These special taxis have been equipped with accessibility features such as wheelchair lift. The taxis are also driven by qualified drivers who have been trained in assisting people of determination.
The service is available 24/7 either at Dubai Airport or by calling Dubai Taxi. People with special needs and disabilities are requested to call at 042080808.
