Dubai Police on Thursday formally launched the third section of their ‘Traffic Fines Settlement’ initiative.
The initiative permits motorists to avail of a 75% percent discount on their accumulated fines in the case they haven’t committed any violations since Feb 7th, 2019.
“#DubaiPolice officially launches the third phase of the ‘Traffic Fines Settlement’ initiative giving 75 percent on accumulated fines for people who haven’t committed any traffic violations since the 7th of Feb 2019,” Dubai Police launched a statement.
Dubai Police had launched the scheme on Feb 7th, in a step by which motorists who didn’t commit any violations for 3 months might get a 25% percent discount on their fines. No violations for 6 months would entitle them to a 50% percent discount. Keep driving well for 9 months and you may get a 75% percent discount. Have a sleek ride all year long and you’ll get a 100% percent discount.
