Good Skin Days Are Here: Huda Kattan Launching a Skincare Line

After diving into and becoming the most successful makeup brand in the world, Iraqi-US makeup entrepreneur Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty is all set to launch her very own line of Skincare.

This new development was announced by Kattan through her own Instagram handle as well as the official handle of Huda Beauty on Sunday. She also launched a new Instagram Page for the Skincare line where she expresses an approach to the phenomenon that is skincare as “We were all born to be real, not perfect”.

Kattan also shared her very own skin journey saying, “I’ve said it before, but my skin has been a JOURNEY,”.

“As a kid I had really dry-sensitive skin, that was super rough and uneven in tone and texture, and at 19 I started dealing with cystic adult acne,” she wrote.

“What happened was truly unexpected! My skin became so soft, even smooth, my pores disappeared, and my acne was (finally) under control,” she added.

She gave sneak peek of her very first DIY pineapple enzyme mask.

Already owning highly successful she has a makeup line, a fragrance line and now a skincare line. Kattan says it will not be called Huda Beauty Skin – however, it has been years in the making.

Speaking of the skincare she said, “When we decided to create a skincare line we wanted to pull from everything I loved about skin so we partnered with the top labs in Korea and Japan and created the most GENTLE but EFFECTIVE skincare products that are so clean, so natural and with almost no scent (less than .2%).”

Kattan is ranked in the top 40 of Forbes’ 2019 list of the wealthiest self-made female entrepreneurs in the US, with a reported net worth of $610 million.

The first product and the name of the brand will be revealed on February 4.
