Indian NRI Can get Visa Upon Arrival in UAE - Promoting Tourism

UAE allows transit passengers from different countries to step outside the airport and discover the city for a few hours.

Dubai is the top tourist destination and famous among Indians for shopping.

Those Indians who are carrying Green Cards or have a US visa or residency in Europe and UK, they can come directly and get a visa upon arrival. The 48-hour visa fee waiver has been created to promote tourism.

There is a huge amount of Indian passengers transiting airports in the UAE enroute to destinations in the Middle East, Europe and the America.

According to a cabinet announcement, the transit visa can be extended for up to 96 hours for a fee of only AED 50.

Obtaining transit visa will be facilitated by a number of express counters at the passport-control hall across UAE airports.
