The global phenomenon that is K-Pop is coming to Dubai this March. K-Pop ultimate star band, “Super Junior” is all set to perform at the K-pop Super Concert at Coca-Cola Arena.
Coca-Cola Arena is calling it the K-pop Super Concert 2020 as alongside Super Junior, NCT 127, JUN, South Korean reggae duo RGP and five-member girl group Laboum are to give stellar performances. NCT 127 made its official debut with NCT #127 in 2016. The debut reached number two on the Gaon Album Chart and topped the charts by the third week of its release.
Debuting in 2005, Super Junior is the veteran band that has been around for a long time, also known as SJ or SuJu, they shot to international fame following the release of their best-selling single, Sorry, Sorry in 2009. They have received a number of accolades including thirteen music awards from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, nineteen from the Golden Disc Awards and are the second singing group to win Favourite Artist – Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards, as well as International Artist and Best Fandom in the Teen Choice Awards 2015.
Initially having 12 members, currently, the band has nine active members including leader Leeteuk, actor Choi Si-won, Donghae, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Heechul, Ryeowook, Shindong, Yesung and most recently Kyuhyun, who completed his mandatory military service last year and rejoined the group.
Super Junior last performed in the UAE in 2018, as part of the SM Town Festival where K-Pop artists signed under the South Korean record label S.M. Entertainment performed a mega show.
