Dubai has received Karnika, the first Indian cruise ship to visit the region, and will take from Port Rashid to start its flights in the Arabian Gulf. It will launch two touristic trips across the region every week until September.
On the ship are performances of Broadway and Burlesque, as well as performances of music and dances, as well as sessions to watch movies and adventure activities.
The company will organize regular flights in the Arabian Gulf until mid-September.

In Her Second Home

Karnika weighs 70,000 and 285 tons and made its first flight from Mumbai to Goa last April and has carried out 15 flights around India since.
The ship launched its maiden voyage from Mumbai to Dubai in May and will continue to operate at Port Rashid until mid-September. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of recreational facilities, as well as a variety of adventures and take advantage of the many options offered by the ship.
Exchange Shields and Switches
A traditional ceremony was held for the exchange of shields and switches between the ship’s captain and representatives of the Dubai Maritime Tourism Committee and public and private sector partners.
The ship was launched at a ceremony held last April in Mumbai, India.
