Khalifa University is the top rated university in the country. It is launching Abu Dhabi’s first medical school in September on its main campus.
The university is offering an American-style doctor of medicine (MD) program. The college will provide students with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree after graduation with applications open for both local and expatriate graduates.
Students will be training at hospitals in Abu Dhabi and in clinics from year one. After graduation, they will have the opportunity for residency with a partner hospital in UAE.
The partner medical institution will work with Khalifa University in designing and implementing the academic program.
Scholarships will be offered to successful candidates, while additional incentives will be offered to Emiratis.
