Get ready to be transported into a world literary brilliance as Japanese bookstore Kinokuniya is opening its first store in Abu Dhabi.
This is not the first Kinokuniya in UAE as Dubai Mall already has one store packed with the best the literary world can offer.
Kinokuniya will be opening at The Galleria Al Maryah Island and the grand launch will be in March 2020. The beloved Japanese store opened first in 1927 in Tokyo. Kinokuniya now has flagship stores all around the world like New York, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and opened in Dubai back in 2008.
Naoya Hirata, managing director of Kinokuniya UAE, says: “We are very excited to celebrate our unique Japanese heritage within The Galleria Al Maryah Island’s vibrant mix, and we look forward to welcoming the Abu Dhabi community to our store.“
A treat for the book enthusiasts, Kinokuniya has one of the largest and closely curated book collection in the world with unique offerings as well as world-famous works from great artists and writers on almost all genres of life.
