Kuwait Longest Flag World Record Preparations in Action


Day after day, the people of Kuwait prove their love for the country’s precious soil and achieve achievements so that the flag of the nation remains high in all international forums, but this time it will enter the Guinness Book of World Records with the world’s longest flag as part of the national celebrations.

In this regard, the Mubarak Al Kabeer Educational Zone of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Education is preparing to enter the Guinness Book of Records by organizing the celebration of carrying the largest flag of the country with a length of 2019 meters and the participation of more than 4000 students and teachers and organizer on Sunday morning, February 10.

The ceremony, which will be held under the auspices of the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Hamid Al-Azmi, will take place in the celebration square in the Sobhan area along the Fahd Al-Malik Al-Sabah road, with the participation of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior and Civil Defense.

This celebration coincides with the celebrations of Kuwait on the 58th Independence Day, the 28th Liberation Day and the 13th anniversary of His Highness the Amir’s assumption of the reins of government in addition to reflecting the keenness and interest of the Ministry of Education to highlight student efforts and participation in national events.

The government agencies are participating in the celebration through cooperation with the Ministry of Education to register a new record in the global encyclopedia and raise the name of Kuwait through a national carnival that reflects the feelings of loyalty and belonging to the country’s precious soil.
