Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Future Research that aims to research and innovations in various scientific fields has opened at the Oxford University in the UK.
The center will focus on research on 3D technology, physics and other advanced sciences in addition to the development of medicines and other future oriented applications.
Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future and vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi and Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and board member of Dubai Future Foundation Omar Sultan Al Olama was attended the Centre’s inauguration.
Al Gergawi said that the centre reflects the vision and directives of the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
He explained that the Centre will form a free and open space for scientists, researchers and innovators to create solutions as well as develop future-oriented practical tools and applications.
Their activities will focus on three main fields including the provision of programs offered at the Dubai Future Academy on the Oxford Campus which includes future related curricula, a laboratory for programming, research and development in addition to offering students the ability to participate in the “Fox Global” programme for future exchanges, connecting students and specialist of academics to scientific resources and knowledge bases.
The research center will act as the official academic representative of the Dubai future foundation on the Oxford university campus where it will work to provide training facilities for those enrolled in the academic programmes.
