The Parkin PJSC of Dubai is the biggest operator of paid public parking and has revised its schedule and the parking fee for zone F areas. New Parking Fees for Zone F, effective from the 1st of February, 2025, target some of the key areas such as Al Sufouh 2, The Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City, and Dubai Internet City.
The new parking fee list is as follows:
This increase in parking fees clearly shows the demand for parking in these areas that are always congested. Along with the revised charges, the paid parking hours have been extended as well. Earlier, parking fees were applicable from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; now, they have been extended till 10 p.m. from 8 a.m.
The new parking fees for zone F are just a small part of a wider road to change in parking management in Dubai. A Variable Parking Tariff Policy will be put in place by the end of March 2025. Accordingly, the parking rates during peak hours (8 a.m.-10 a.m. and 4 p.m.-8 p.m.) shall be:
Parking will be free between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and every Sunday, with off-peak rates unchanged from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The parking areas in Dubai are segmented into zones called A to K, each with defined fees and regulations. These zones are classified as commercial, non-commercial, or special areas, with different regulations for all categories.
Updates on parking fees and hours in zone F form part of an ongoing initiative to improve parking demand management and efficient space utilization in high-density areas across Dubai.
