Over 120,000 Women in Saudi Apply for Driving Licenses

In Saudi Arabia, over 120,000 women have applied for driving licenses.

Six driving institutes for women have been established across the kingdom to keep up with rising demand. 40 female road inspectors will commence their duties in the coming weeks and no traffic violations by women motorists have been recorded by the traffic department

Authorities have warned against harassment against female drivers and urging residents to behave as Islamic values.
