Paid Parking Timings Extended in 7-Day Zones in Sharjah

From November 1, motorists in Sharjah will have to pay for parking until midnight in designated ‘7-day zones.’ Sharjah City Municipality said via their X account that the extended hours have been introduced, meaning paid parking is now applicable from 8 AM to 12 AM every day of the week.

Earlier, chargeable parking was available from 8 AM to 10 PM in both 7-day and ordinary zones. Regarding the changes, parking in these signs marked as blue will be chargeable all night long.

Parking is free on Friday and public holiday, and charges will still be in place in 7-day areas on those days.

That means it will apply everywhere for no parking to be dealt with differently in any part of the month of Ramadan. Motorists need to be informed on this change to avoid fines.
