Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan launched a new e-Visa system for 175 countries including UAE. This portal announced during a ceremony held at Islamabad, Pakistan. This initiative has taken to promote tourism and investment in the country.

Speaking on the launch ceremony, Imran Khan said issuing a visa online was a major step forward toward real change because it would open the country to the outside world.
This service also shows that Pakistan is a peaceful, stable and open country for business and tourism. He noted that “Pakistan has seen difficult times in its efforts to combat terrorism, but the situation today is different.”
Imran Khan also said,” This is the first step to open the country’s doors and change the principle in the past in the difficulty of granting anyone a visa to enter Pakistan”.
The new visa system will benefits tourists from 175 countries including UAE, while work visas will be offered to citizens of 90 countries. Citizens from some 55 countries will be granted visa access on arrival in the country, previously available to citizens of only 24 countries.
