With a year filled with hits like “Inkaar” and “Ishq Zahay Naseeb”, Yumna Zaidi has indeed become a fan favourite with delivering powerhouse performances back to back. And with coronavirus lockdowns and hit shows like “Alif” and “Ehd-e-Wafa” endings coinciding at the same time, the audiences are left with an appetite for entertainment in the comfort of their homes.
Well good news for all as 7th Sky entertainment has just dropped a trailer for a brand new serial “Raaz E Ulfat”, starring Yumna Zaidi and Shahzad Sheikh on Geo TV.
Produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, the drama has been written by Maha Malik who has written dramas like “Tum Kon Piya,” “Ranjish Hi Sahi” and “Mere Meherbaan.” Also starring in supporting roles are Gohar Rasheed and Komal Aziz.
Yumna Zaidi last worked with Har Pal Geo last year with the subtle and sweet “Dil Kya Kare” by Mehreen Jabbar, whereas, Shahzad Sheikh was most recently seen as Salar on Hum TV’s “Deewar E Shab”. Both stars have been cast opposite each other for the very first time and their dynamic on screen will be a treat to watch for the audiences.
The story of the serial seems to be of the trials and tribulations of “Lost Love” as both the characters of Yumna and Shahzad plan a future together but then end up marrying other people. The show is directed by Siraj Ul Haq, who has successes in the past like “Parsa,” “Roshan Sitara,” “Bunty I Love You” and “Yeh Raha Dil.”
The formula used for the serial is one that will successfully end up bringing many viewers to the screens each week.
