Parkin PJSC, which is Dubai’s largest operator of paid public parking, is planning to introduce new features such as Autopay and pay-later services to further enrich customer experience for Dubai’s Paid Parking Services. The announcement was made on social media channel X on Wednesday after a visit from Mattar Al Tayer, director general and chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
During the visit, Parkin officials led by CEO Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali spelled out a grandiose expansion plan to build the parking infrastructure across Dubai. The idea envisages the installation of advanced smart technologies, as well as the launching of a new customer call center that will take more than 500 daily customer interactions. Al Tayer’s visit, Parkin officials stated, reaffirms the innovation of the company toward the excellent service, and its active participation in solving traffic challenges of Dubai.
On top of that, Parkin has also launched an auto service at several selected parkings across the suburbs of Dubai. Shortly, customers will be able to use dozens of conveniences, including washing, on-the-go refueling at the parking lot, engine oil changes, tires checks, and battery inspections, plus some other essentials for maintaining their vehicles while parked.
This initiative is in line with Parkin’s wider growth and innovation for the parking and mobility sector. Al Ali had previously intended that the company intends to grow outside Dubai. The company is already negotiating with a well-known Saudi conglomerate for the introduction of paid parking services in Saudi Arabia by the end of 2024, which will be a thrilling next step in the regional expansion of Parkin.
With these new services and expansion plans, Parkin aims to revolutionize parking in Dubai and beyond.
