For the first time, Dubai gets its first discount pharmacy, Pharmacy for Less, now opened at Dubai Outlet Mall. The shop will offer year-round discounts on more than 30,000 wellness products and non-prescribed medicines. In store, shoppers can benefit from savings of 25-35% on over 500 brands, including vitamins, supplements, skincare lines, and everything dedicated to the care of mother and babies.
“Unlike seasonal discount promotions, we are offering 25 to 35 per cent cumulative discount throughout the year to customers on more than 30,000 products from more than 500 leading brands,” said Abdul Nazzar, chairman and managing director of Life Healthcare Group, which launched Pharmacy for Less.
This affordability also extends to small retail pharmacies across the UAE. “(Our) store’s membership program is set to benefit 3,000 to 4,000 small pharmacies across the UAE, allowing them to improve their supply chains and business operations by purchasing products at cost price,” explained Jobilal M Vavachan, CEO of Life Healthcare Group.
On the other hand, prescription drugs fall out of the discount because they are controlled by health authorities. Vavachan attributes the low prices to a huge pharmacy network for Life Healthcare Group and is located in Dubai Outlet Mall, whose very business model is off-price retail.

Pharmacy for Less makes it easier to meet the demand for affordable healthcare by offering consistent discounts and supporting smaller pharmacies, thereby stimulating the overall health ecosystem so that the products and commodities of good health are accessible to every consumer.
Life Healthcare Group will take this further by opening 25 additional discount pharmacies in the United Arab Emirates in the next two years.
