Dubai: Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) invites commuters to mark Public Transport Day on Friday, 1st of November, by winning great prizes. The RTA will be rewarding frequent users of the city’s public transport with as much as 1 million Nol+ points.
Starting Monday, October 28, RTA will kick off a series of initiatives under this specific Day, annually held to raise awareness about the value of sustainable transportation. This year’s theme reads “Good for you, Great for Dubai.”
Public Transport Champions: RTA will reward the most frequent users of public transport in six categories. The number of winners for each category will be three:
Winners will receive 1 million, 500,000, and 250,000 Nol+ points, respectively, with an awards ceremony to honor the winners.
This year’s Transport Day theme will encourage residents and visitors to share in making Dubai the best city in the world for living by choosing RTA’s public transport services,” said Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, CEO of the Corporate Administrative Support Sector at RTA. “These services include the metro and trams, buses, marine transport, as well as soft mobility such as bicycles and e-scooters,” he added.
