Pulse 95 Radio is the Sharjah’s first English language radio station went air on 1 May, 2018.
The opening ceremony was held under the assistance of Chairman of Sharjah Media Council (SMC) Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi.
According to the owners of new station, “We will present local and international news, exclusive interviews, features, morning talks, evening segments and unique music that will cover the latest trendy hits.”
They have lively and energetic presenters bringing world class shows “The Morning Majlis,” “Musafir in the City” and “Yalla Home”.
The Chairman of Sharjah Media Council (SMC) Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, took on-air questions from the presenters.
The team includes Emirati, Arab, and international presenters: Sally Mousa, Sara Al Madani, Ana Schofield, Amna Roberts, Omar Al Busaidy, Hassan Dennaoui (Big Hass) and Iman Al Majali.
He also said, “The launch of Pulse 95 is an exciting venture into a new market for Sharjah Media Corporation. We have seen a real need to fill the gap in English language output particularly when so many of the Emirate’s residents use English in their day to day lives and increasingly conduct business in English.”
