Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), opened the Smart Floating Station for Dubai Festival City, the first floating station in the UAE, to accommodate more than 25 passengers. By linking the maritime transport service (Al Jaddaf Line Dubai Festival City) with the public transport bus service and Al Khor Dubai Metro Station.
Al Abra will be operated every 10 minutes between Dubai Festival City and Al Jaddaf. The station operates daily from 7 am to 12 pm and is priced at AED 2.
Mattar Al Tayer inspected the facilities of Dubai Festival City, which has grown significantly from 42,863 passengers in 2016 to 187,000 passengers in 2017 and rose by 24 percent to 245,000 passengers in 2018. Eight Million Bookings Placed for Taxis in Dubai During H1 – RTA
