Azizi Developments, a private Dubai-based real estate developer, has commenced sales in what is going to be the second tallest tower in the world, called the Burj Azizi. The tower will eventually reach a height of 725 meters and be available for sale in seven cities around the globe beginning from February 19 this year. These major cities include Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo where interested applicants can stake their claim in this iconic skyscraper.
Burj Azizi will be developed on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and will bring together residential, hotel, retail and entertainment functions through 131 levels. Scheduled for completion within 2028, the tower will redefine Dubai’s skyline.
Mirwais Azizi, founder and chairman of Azizi Developments, enthused, “In Dubai and cities around the world, new projects come up every day; however, projects like Burj Azizi come once in a generation”. I feel overjoyed that we celebrate Burj Azizi’s journey from conceptualization to launch. He further added, “Burj Azizi is more than a building; it’s a testament to how the emirate is adding increasing tentacles to the increasingly global stage.”
This announcement comes at a time when the Dubai real estate market is enjoying phenomenal growth. In the past four years, the country’s demand for real estate due to investors and end-users has raised prices and rents, especially in luxury and ultra-luxury segments, substantially. Property Finder reported that Dubai in 2024 achieved the highest record in terms of number and value of transactions of about Dh522.5 billion across 180,987 transactions as against the volume of 36.5 percent and value increase of 27.2 percent on an effective record set in 2023.
Already the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa Dubai offers numerous towering skyscrapers. According to the latest research of Skyscraper center, the city has 33 buildings over 300 meters tall, more than any other in the world. Besides, Dubai is also home to 14 out of the 100 tallest completed towers around the world, including landmarks such as Marina 101, Princess Tower, and Ciel Tower.
The hotel lobby will be the highest on level 111, the highest nightclub on level 126, the highest restaurant on level 122, and there will be hotel rooms on level 118. At the top of the tower will stand this special museum capable of telling the story of the tower through multimedia such as photos, videos, and graphics.
The residential portion of Burj Azizi will offer a combination of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. For every 20 floors of residences, an amenity floor will be available with luxurious offerings such as swimming pools, a gym, a yoga center, spa, games room, business center, kids’ play area, cinema, and supermarket.
Further to this, Azizi Developments is going to feature a 7-star hotel in the tower inspired by seven different heritage themes: Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Turkish, French, and Russian.
Mirwais concluded, “Burj Azizi has been a dream of mine for many years. It has been a tough challenge, having taken much tireless work by experts from around the world. But I am happy to announce that the dream is now on the way to realization.”
On February 19, Dubai will launch the global sales of Burj Azizi, ready to become one of the most sought pieces of real estate in the world.
