Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and Chairman of the UAE Olympic Committee, In mid-May.
Sheikh Mohammed’s wife, Sheikh Hamdan, was married to the daughter of his aunt Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum. Sheikh Maktoum married the daughter of his aunt Sheikha Mariam bint Butti Al Maktoum. On the cousin of his mother Sheikha Media bint Dalmuj Al Maktoum.
Hamdan, or as he is called “Sheikh Fazza”, 37 years old, loves poetry as his father and is known for his passion for sports, especially horseback riding, as he won the Cup of Head of State Equestrian in 2008.
His brother, Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid, was appointed to his father, the ruler of Dubai, in 2005, before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the American University of Dubai.
Maktoum was appointed First Vice President of the Executive Council of the Emirate. He is also the Chairman of the Dubai Creative Pools Authority, the Dubai Judicial Council, the Dubai International Financial Center, and the Dubai Media Corporation.
Maktoum oversees the power of creative communities in the UAE, which has contributed to important projects such as Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and Knowledge Village.
