Where there are so many smart solutions and ease in every aspect of one’s life in the Emirates, making internet calls is one mighty task in UAE. This comes as a result of the restriction by TRA (Telecommunications Regulatory Authority) under which only licensed VoIP entities such as Etisalat and Du can be accessed and used. Among the approved and licensed apps by Etisalat that can be used for internet calls, the most famous one is Botim.
Botim offers a great experience and a range of facilities like sharing photos, videos, voice messages, location and short text messages along with internet calls. But the service is not free like Industry giants namely Skype or WhatsApp, Etisalat, and Du charge a monthly subscription fee of 50 AED for single device usage and 100 AED for more than one device that can be an ideal package for the whole family to use Botim in UAE.
But good news came for the citizens in the Emirates as Botim has announced that they will now offer their services under the ToTok brand.
“ToTok is a free, fast and secure calling and messaging app that allows you to enjoy voice and video calls with your family and friends anywhere, anytime, without any limits,” the announcement that the Botim team sent to its subscribers said.
Botim started advertising across the internet of its services now free of charge under ToTok for user awareness. Totok app can be download on the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
At the moment Botim services are inaccessible.
