UAE-based Mawarid Holding signed an agreement with Chongqing Earthskin Eco-technology to plant grass, trees or vegetables at selected sites.
The aim is to use the desert-soilized land in different agriculture industries.
Mawarid Holding will provide desert land and funds while Chongqing Earthskin will provide the technologies.
Chongqing Earthskin may also set up an application research centre of desert soilization technologies in Abu Dhabi.
