More than 100 exhibitors from both the public and private sectors are participating in the UAE Career Fair 2019, which was opened on Tuesday by Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Government of Dubai.
Mr. Al Falasi toured the 20,000 square meter exhibition, accompanied by Hilal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Center Authority, Director General of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and acquainted with the nature of exhibitors from the private and government sectors. Oil and gas, banking, insurance, hospitality and aviation services including air navigation, health, commodities, education, telecommunications, and others.
Abdullah Al Falasi said that “the UAE Careers Fair provides an ideal opportunity for UAE nationals to work on the latest developments in the labor market and future jobs, especially in view of the great transformation and changes in jobs in the light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the introduction of artificial intelligence techniques”.
Exhibition supports the efforts of the UAE government in Emiratisation by offering government agencies many vacancies and providing the opportunity for UAE nationals to fill these jobs.
Participation of 27 government agencies from Dubai government departments in the exhibition is reinforcing the government’s efforts to Emiratisation.
The Dubai Government platform provides hundreds of job vacancies for Emiratis who can be submitted through the Dubai Jobs portal and then conduct instant interviews on the platform at the UAE Careers Fair.

For her part, Asma Al Sharif, Director of Emirates Careers Fair 2019, said that “the exhibition is attended by a number of dignitaries and officials such as Sara Bent Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of State responsible for the advanced science portfolio”.
The exhibition is a series of daily workshops aimed at providing UAE job seekers with information on career development and opportunities.
