Slow down when approaching road entrances: Of course, slow down before reaching a road. It also means that there is more time to act on what is happening at a scene and respond to anything that one has not expected.
Use side warning signals: It is extremely important that drivers use their turn signals appropriately so that the drivers around them will know what the driver intends to do next. It is useful in avoiding confusion and close calls between the objects under control.
Be cautious of parked vehicles: If there is a car in front of it or perhaps parked close to the entrance to a parking lot, slow down. When parked, cars become obstructive and hinder your vision towards incoming traffic or even pedestrians.
Give priority to vehicles on the main road: All the time give way to any vehicle that you encounter on this main road. These are privileged roads; hence, it is prohibited to fail to yield to such vehicles as it may cause disastrous outcomes.
Ensure the road is clear: Always ensure that the road is clear of any approaching traffic before continuing with the journey. This final check is so important in avoiding any mishap that may occur as a result of negligence by any of the workers.
