The Blue Visa is a natural follow-up to the UAE’s Golden and Green Residency programs devised for attracting skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors. Application for the Blue Visa
The very application for the Blue Visa has been simplified for broader access and efficiency. The first stage will take place through an electronic system, with approvals given post submission from government agencies concerned with sustainability.
There are two primary ways for individuals to apply for the Blue Visa:
- Direct Application to the ICP – Interested individuals can apply directly through the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security or through the mobile application.
- Nomination by Competent UAE Authorities – Relevant government agencies and organizations in the UAE can nominate individuals for consideration who meet eligibility criteria.
To ease the process, the ICP has established a 24-hour-a-day-7-days-a-week Blue Visa service through its official website and also through the mobile app. The applicant’s acceptance is contingent upon meeting the approved terms and conditions.
