UAE Petrol Prices Drop – The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced a substantial cut in petrol prices for December 2024. The new rates, effective from December 1, are the lowest this year and will bring relief to motorists across the country.
Super 98 petrol is going to be sold at Dh2.61 per liter. In November, the rate was Dh2.74. Special 95 petrol is sold at Dh2.50 per liter, a fall from Dh2.63. The rate of E-Plus 91 petrol is at Dh2.43 per liter. The previous rate was Dh2.55 per liter. Diesel is being sold at Dh2.68 per liter after having seen a slight dip from Dh2.67 per liter.
For motorists, this means Dh6.12 to Dh9.62 in savings for a full tank, depending on the vehicle model.
Since it deregulated petrol prices in 2015, the UAE’s rates are in line with global market movements and revised monthly. This is the latest cut in the global adjustments in fuel prices, which will come as welcome relief to many motorists, who are being squeezed on other fronts.
Motorists should make the most of the new lower rates in December.
