The Emirates Schools Establishment, UAE’s government body operating public schools, has announced that public school registrations for the academic year 2024 – 2025 will be open from Monday, March 4, until March 15, 2024.
Parents have been urged to register their children through the ESE website: ese.gov.ae or through the mobile app.
Officials had earlier noted that kindergarten enrolment age is calculated for those who have reached the approved age for registration by August 31 of the new academic year.
To enroll in the first year of Kindergarten KG-1, pupils must be four years old and for the KG-2, pupils must be five years old. Pupils wanting to enroll in Grade-1 must be six years old, and not more than 8 years old, according to education authorities.
The registration will be open for the following categories of students from all emirates, from kindergarten to twelfth grade:
