The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowment (Awqaf’s) recently launched electronic system for Haj pilgrims so the cost of making the Islamic pilgrimage, Haj, has decreased more than 50 per cent.
Previously Haj prices had reached up to Dh40,000 with special services that cost almost Dh90,000 but now with the help of new system, residents of the UAE can make the pilgrimage for Dh13,000.
