The UAE junior handball team won the Lebanese championship on the fourth day of the Arab School Sports Competition held at the halls complex at the Cairo Stadium. The UAE team won 32 against 24 for the Lebanese team in a match dominated by the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE team will have two matches in the championship against Saudi Arabia and Palestine before the closing ceremony of the tournament scheduled for next Tuesday. Eight Arab countries will participate in handball and table tennis at the Arab Sports School Championship held at Hall 2 in the halls complex covered by Cairo International Stadium.
The sessions of the Arab Handball and Table Tennis School, held at Hall 2 and 3 at the Cairo Stadium, were attended by Dr Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Iman Hassan, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for the Session, Mazen Al Qubaisi, Head of the Executive Office of the Arab Union for Physical Education and School Sports, Head of Services and Activities Sector at the Ministry of Education, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Idris Fathy, President of the School Union in Morocco.
Dr Iman Hassan said that the ultimate goal of the tournament is to integrate young people and young people, stressing the importance of Arab unity among participating countries and raising awareness of the history and culture of Arab society.
