The UAE has introduced a special 180-day visit visa to attract global business owners, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and investors. This new 180-Day visa allows individuals to explore business opportunities within the country and contribute to its growing economy.
The UAE intends to offer flexible visitation rights to applicants under its Business Opportunities visa so that they can come to the country for single or multiple entry, depending on the approved requirements and professions. However, a total stay under this visa cannot exceed 180 days.
In applying for the visa, an applicant must fulfill four main criteria, qualification for certain types of work, a passport valid for six months, health insurance in the UAE, and proof of ticketed onward travel out of the country, all of which easily guarantee the preparation of business visitants into the UAE who have time to explore investment opportunities.
A point made by Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security, was that this new visa initiative is part of the UAE establishing a complete ecosystem of services to attract entrepreneurs and investors. He pointed out that their excellent infrastructure, competitive logistical services, and strong legal frameworks have all been in support of business establishment and expansion.
Offering investors single or multiple entry with stays for up to 60-120 days as long as the total stay does not exceed 180 days is an added incentive. The initiative, therefore, reinforces the UAE’s desire to thrive on innovation and spur economic growth through the attraction of global talent and investment.
The new visa is anticipated to further establish the UAE as a foremost business center, while grooming its reputation as a haven for investors and entrepreneurial ventures.
