UAE’s Upcoming Gaming Destination: Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah

Wynn Resorts has recently unveiled new images of its upcoming luxury resort, Wynn Al Marjan Island, which is currently under construction in Ras Al Khaimah. This development will be the hospitality giant’s first beachfront resort and is being built on a 62-hectare island located in the Arabian Gulf.

Wynn Resorts is partnering with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding for the development of this project, which is expected to become the first integrated gaming resort in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Wynn Al Marjan Island has the following interesting features:

In-house expertise: Wynn Design and Development has a team of over 90 architects, designers, and visionaries who are committed to creating unique gaming resorts. With its full-service design and architectural team, Wynn Resorts is a standout in the industry.

Global impact: Responsible for designing iconic resorts across two continents, Wynn Design and Development’s influence on gaming resorts worldwide is unparalleled. Now, they’re bringing their expertise to Ras Al Khaimah with Wynn Al Marjan Island.

Construction milestones: Construction of Wynn Al Marjan Island began in early 2023 and is led by ALEC Engineering and Contracting. With the tower already 40 meters tall, the full height of over 300 meters is expected to be reached by late 2025, with a grand opening slated for early 2027.

Historical inspiration: Drawing inspiration from Ras Al Khaimah’s historic role as a trade landmark, Wynn Al Marjan Island’s 300-meter-tall tower is designed to be a modern beacon for global travelers, paying homage to the area’s navigational significance.

Luxurious amenities: Overlooking a pristine white sand beach and offering views of both the Arabian Gulf and Ras Al Khaimah’s natural beauty, Wynn Al Marjan Island promises guests a lavish experience. With 1,542 rooms, private Villa Estates, poolscape, and more, luxury knows no bounds.

Exquisite dining and entertainment: Guests will be spoiled for choice with 22 dining, lounge, and bar experiences, each uniquely designed and offering stunning views. The theater will host bespoke production shows, ensuring unforgettable entertainment.

Retail therapy: A 15,000-square-meter shopping esplanade filled with top luxury boutiques awaits guests, along with a five-star spa and salon for indulgent relaxation.
