Union Coop giving up to 90% Discount for Ramadan 2019

As the Holy month is around the corner, Union Coop has made some arrangements regarding the food products consumed in this time period. Skyrocketing prices of VAT food products and non-food products won’t be the issue you have to face this time of the year, as some massive discount deals are on the table for you.

Union Coop has announced that this scheme of 90% discount is available in all branches across the country.

This BIG sale will be launching through ten different campaigns in the next 60 days which includes Ramadan as well. Khalid Humaid Al-Falasi, the CEO of Union Coop said on Monday.

This Ramadan about Dh650 million worth of sale is to be expected to be made with through a wide variety of products, keeping in mind the diversity of the population in the country.

This Union Coop plan includes 10 different campaigns to reduce the price on more than 25, 000 VAT free food and non-food products to get the discount of almost 90%. This plan is worth Dh110 million.

Union Coop has made the profit of Dh138.5 million in the first quarter of this year despite a reduction of 7.5% on the price of several products. In comparison with last year’s profits, this year 26.5% is greater scored than last year.

Suppliers are in contract with Union Coop to deliver the products round the clock so the customers do not need to worry said Al-Falasi.

Union Coop branches in Al Wasl, Umm Suqeim and Al Tawar will be open round the clock so customers can walk-in anytime.

Other branches will be open from 6:30 am to 2:00 am. 2.5 million consumers are to be expected and up to 70 million products are likely to be sold.

More than 22 thousand products are available at Union Coop e-store. Customers are also facilitated through a delivery system round the clock to deliver as fast as possible.

Talking about e-shopping, some additional benefits and discounts are also available by using the Union Coop app. Al-Falasi said, customers can avail all the offers without standing in the queues, and there might be a special staff for the customer’s help.
