According to astronomical calculations, Arafat Day will fall on Tuesday August 21.
Arafat Day takes places on the ninth day of the Islamic lunar calendar and Eid Al Adha takes place on the 10th day of the Dhu Al Hijja month.
So the first day of Eid Al Adha which is known as the ‘feast of the sacrifice’ will correspond to Wednesday, August 22.
